Education

47.7 percent of Westchester residents hold at least a bachelor’s degree, and almost a quarter (23.8 percent) hold a higher degree beyond that. The most educated municipality is Scarsdale, where 89 percent of residents hold at least a bachelor’s degree, while the community with the lowest proportion of residents with college degrees is Port Chester at 23.2 percent.
